The National Commission on Indian System of Medicine (NCISM) has changed their eligibility criterion to take a Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) course across the academic year 2025-26. A student interested in joining BAMS will no longer be required to attain 50 per cent marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology in his Class XII. The 50 percent minimum eligibility in PCB course to take admission in BAMS has also been removed by the authorities in session 2025-26 but qualifying in NEET examination remains valid as per the BAMS admission 2025 eligibility rules of the programme.

BAMS Eligibility 2025
